It is a bit of a mixed bag of news this morning with improvements in the weather but many lifts still closed. The weather has improved and the winds have reduced to a light breeze around the base area. It is snowing lightly and visibility is generally good on the mountain. There has been another solid overnight snowfall of 10cm of powder adding to yesterdays snowfalls. More lifts have opened today and Kitanomine Zone is definitely the place to head, as both the Kitanomine Swift and Kitanomine Romance lift are operating, providing access to halfway up the slopes. On the Furano Zone there is only the Prince Romance lift operating.
Opening, lift & other notes:
Prince Romance lift
Kitanomine Swift lift No.1
Kitanomine Romance lift No.2
