Independent snow and weather reporting from the Furano region of Hokkaido

New snowfall at base 2cm
Snowfall at base this season 210cm

Posted on Monday 12th January 2015 This is an archived report. The latest Furano Now report can be found here.

Today's overcast skies are producing some flat light conditions on the resort, but we are hoping these will improve during the morning. There hasn't been much in the way of snow with around 2cm of accumulation on the slopes, and nothing significant on the forecast for the next few days. It looks like we are in for some good weather from tomorrow through until Friday with some sunshine and only light winds.
