It has been a bumper weekend for snowfall. Since yesterday's Furano Now report there has been over 40cm of fresh snow at village level. Locals have been up since day break trying to clear pathways and access ways to homes and accommodation. Much of the mountain has not been groomed so there is potentially a whole days of fresh tracks to be had. There is low cloud on the mountain at the moment but visibility is still pretty good. All lifts are in operation but please see the notes below for course restrictions due to ski competitions being hosted on the Furano Zone.
The following courses are closed to the public until March 11 due to ski competitions: Panorama, Technical, Spies, Ropeway.
