The slopes are sparkling in the morning sun and it is looking like it will be a great day here in Furano - quite a contrast to the greyness of yesterday.
There is some high cloud hanging around but that will move on as the morning progresses. Overnight there has been 4cm of new snow which has freshened up the mountain and will mean some of the off piste runs will be worth a look early morning.
The grooming team has been busy overnight and all main runs have been perfectly groomed.
