The weekend brought with it strong winds but an epic dumping of snow. Funnily enough on the Furano Zone the winds didn't seems anywhere near as strong as they were in the Kitanomine village which was most rewarding for those who made the effort to get out. Needless to say that with 25cm of new snow over the weekend out on the mountain the conditions were just premium whether you were on piste or ducking off into some of the powder stashes at the sides.

There isn't too much on the snow radar through this week but we should see at least some dustings happening which will keep things fresh at a minimum. Kitanomine has been fenced here there and everywhere with the infamous Furano Ski Area orange fencing which indicates that it shouldn't be too far away from opening.
