Has anyone gone boarding at Ichinose yet? If so, how was it? Thinking of going there in the first week of Jan but, according to the report(s), just over 50cm of snow. Any Pension/Lodge recommendation there? thanks

Kagura wasn't so bad either with 65cm of snow up high. Drove from Tokyo, took about 2hrs, caught the first Rope Way up. Get's really packed late morning though.

What would you do ..if You are waiting for a lunch table with 3 japanese guys sipping on a half-full coke glass for almost an hr and only to find them napping? Imagine being in a restaurant at lunch time on a slope.

I'll be heading to Niseko coming weekend ; can't wait to ride through the 'back bowl'
