Daisen Masumizu Kogen SNOW PARK is located in Houki town to the south west of Yonago city in Tottori Prefecture. It is on the western slopes of Mt Daisen - a volcanic mountain with an elevation of over 1700m, making it the highest in the Chugoku region. There are three other separate ski hills on the slopes of Mt Daisen - Daisen White Resort, Oku Daizen and Kagamiganaru.
From the 2017-2018 season the pair lift is operating and you can now alight mid-way. The name SNOW PARK has been added to the official name and there are a number of park items planned for the slopes. From the 2018 season there is a 500 yen 'entrance charge', but the lift tickets themselves are cheaper than last season.
Tottori Prefecture is located in the Chugoku region of western Japan. There are a number of ski and snowboard resorts in the Tottori, with most gathered around Mt Daisen in the western region of the prefecture.
