New 'Ace Family Quad' lift debuts at Niseko Grand Hirafu

Last week we reported on the new ski lift at Niseko Annupuri - today we introduce another new ski lift in the Niseko area this season... this time at the very popular Niseko Grand Hirafu resort.

This new lift is a replacement lift rather than a totally new feature.

The lift that has been replaced was the base area Ace Family pair lift. The new 841m long lift - called the Ace Family Quad - is a quad lift and doubles the riding capacity to 2400 people per hour. As well as the change from pair to quad, another change is the position of the starting and ending points of the lift. The top now extends to the Sen-no-ki course by the upper area of the Family course.

Both the new lift at Niseko Annupuri and this new lift at Niseko Grand Hirafu make their debut today, Friday 1st December 2017.

Keep an eye on the Niseko Now reports for daily updates from Niseko.
