Hakuba Goryu official name change

Hakuba Goryu - as it used to be officially known, and is often just known as 'Goryu' - is one of the popular ski and snowboard resorts in Hakuba village in the northern region of Nagano Prefecture.

This change actually happened last year, but better late than never....

The official name of the resort has changed from being Hakuba Goryu to ABLE Hakuba GORYU.

Apparently this instance of 'naming rights' by a company (ABLE) was a first for a ski resort in Japan.
