is located on the western side of Mt Azumaya in the northern region of Nagano Prefecture. The Yellow Line lift operates on weekends and holidays. Sugadaira Kogen
is close by.
In April 2018, it looked like Minenohara Kogen was not going to open for the 2018-2019 season. There was encouraging news in August 2018 about a company taking it over with a chance of opening for 2018-2019... and it is happening, with a planned opening date of 22nd December 2018. The new management appear to be aiming to build 'the most advanced terrain parks in Japan'.
No further information is available as of planned opening date. We will check back on this early in 2019.
