Yabuhara Kogen is located on the north east slopes of Okumine, close to the centre of Kiso village in the western region of Nagano Prefecture.

Nagano Prefecture is located in the Chubu region of the main island of Honshu. Most of the Northern Alps, Central Alps and Southern Alps are located within Nagano (along with neighbouring prefectures). Nagano has the second highest number of ski and snowboard resorts in all of Japan and they are spread around the whole prefecture. Nagano city and many of the major ski resorts are located in the northern region.

Yabuhara Kogen is open from 8:30am until 4:30pm. Early season lifts close at 4:00pm.

There is no nighta at this ski hill.

Lift Ticket Information Every Wednesday, a 1 day lift ticket is 2,300 yen for adults; 1,200 yen for children; and 1,800 yen for seniors (not valid on 2nd January 2019).

Every Friday, a 1 day lift ticket is 2,300 yen for adult; 2,200 yen for children (females only! Not valid on 4th January 2019).

Every Monday, a 1 day seniors lift ticket is 2,300 yen (not valid on 31st December 2018 and 11th February 2019).

A season ticket valid for 2 adults and 2 children is available for 54,000 yen.

Season tickets allow owners to obtain discounts on lift tickets at nearby resorts Kiso Fukushima, Nomugitoge and Ciao Ontake.

Getting to Yabuhara Kogen

By public transport

Transport Information
Yabuhara Kogen is about 8km from Yabuhara Station on the Chuo Honsen line.
A shuttle bus is available from Yabuhara Station and costs 100 yen.

The bus ride takes about 20 minutes.

Yabuhara Kogen is about 31km from the Ina IC exit of the Chuo Expressway and just under 37km from the Shiojiri IC exit of the Nagano Expressway.

The ski hill can be found just to the north west of Yabuhara Kogen off Prefecture Road 26. About 5km from the central area of Kiso village on that road the turn off for the ski hill is clearly signposted.

Parking is available for 1,500 vehicles by the base of Yabuhara Kogen. It is free every day of the season.
