Iwate Kogen Snow Park is located in Shizukushi town in Iwate Prefecture in the northern region of the main Honshu island of Japan.
On the southern slopes of Mt Iwate, the resort features a Gondola lift that takes you from base to summit, from which all of the courses of the resort are accessible. Five pair lifts also operate on the mountain.
The resort is easily accessible from Morioka city, Takizawa city and Semboku as well as Hachimantai from the north.

CHAMONIX SNOW PARK

The Snow Park is located on the Chamonix Number 2 course and features kickers, jib items and other park features.
Some can be accessed during night operations.

FAMILY KIDS COURSE

There are a few special family and kids beginner areas by the base of the resort close to the car parks.

NIGHT OPERATIONS

Normally the Numbee 1 and Number 2 pair lifts operate during the night operations
(from 5:00pm until 10:00pm on Fridays, Saturdays and nights before national holidays).

 

Center Plaza

Lift tickets, shop, separate locker rooms for men and women.
Open from 8:00am. Credit cards are accepted

The base building aso features a Kids Room, Baby Room and rest areas.





Restaurant Komakusa

Open from 10:00am until 5:00pm with last orders at 4:30pm.
Seating for 600 people.

About 35 minutes from the Morioka IC exit of the Tohoku Expressway via Route 46
There is parking for about 2800 cars close to the base building. Parking is open 24 hours.
