Chikusa Kogen is located in Shiso city in the western region of Hyogo Prefecture between Mt Okinoyama and Mt Nabegatani.
Hyogo Prefecture is located in the Kansai region of western Japan. It stretches the width of the country and has a coastline both on the Sea of Japan to the north and on the Seto Inland Sea to the south. Most of the ski and snowboard resorts in Hyogo Prefecture are located in the northern region of the Prefecture.

The 'Chikumin Park' Kids Park is near the base of the resort. Entry is 700 yen for children and 500 yen for adults. Normally open from 9:00am until 3:00pm.

The morning ticket is valid until 1:00pm. The afternoon ticket is valid from 12:00pm.
A number of special family tickets are available:
2 adult one day tickets plus one child 'Chigumin Park' entry = 8,000 yen 2 adult and 1 child one day lift ticket = 9,500 yen 2 adults and 2 children one day lift ticket = 12,000 yen
Men's Day is every Monday and Wednesday. On those days a 1 day ticket for skiers is 2,500 yen.
Skiers Day is every Thursday. On those days a 1 day ticket for skiers is 2,500 yen.
Snowboarders Day is every Friday. On those days a 1 day ticket for snowboarders is 2,500 yen.
Ladies Day and Junior Day is every weekday. On those days a 1 day ticket for ladies and juniors is 2,500 yen.

Chikusa Kogen is about 33km from the Ohara IC exit on the Tottori Expressway to the north and about 39km from the Sayo IC on the Chugoku Expressway to the south.
From the Sayo IC exit turn right onto Route 373 and after 2km turn left onto Route 179, then Prefecture Road 53 (a further 4km) and then Prefecture Road 72 (a further 9km). Continue on Road 72 - the ski hill is located by the side of road on the left hand side, with the main parking on the right hand side.
About 1 hour from Yamasaki IC. About 1 hour from Sayo IC. About 150 minutes from the Osaka region. About 120 minutes from the Okayama region.
Parking is free on weekdays and 500 yen on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays and over the New Year.
