Ski Resort Tenei is a small ski hill located in the village of Tenei in Fukushima Prefecture, in the region to the south of Lake Inawashiro. This small ski hill has a steepest gradient of 38 degrees (on the 'TEN Kabe' course).
Fukushima Prefecture is composed of three main regions - the Hamadori region to the east (including the Pacific Ocean coastline), the Nakadori region (the central area) and the Aizu region (the Western mountainous region). Many of the ski and snowboard resorts in the prefecture are found on or near Mt Bandai and Mt Adatara to the north of Lake Inawashiro. Most of the others can be found scattered across the western region of the Aizu region or to the south-west of Lake Inawashiro.

Ski Resort Tenei is about 39km from the Shirakawa IC on the Tohoku Expressway.
The simplest way to get to Ski Resort Tenei is to turn right at the Shirakawa IC exit onto Route 4 and after 3.5km turn left onto Prefecture Road 37, signposted as Lake Hatoriko. After about 25km and passing Lake Hatoriko, you will arrive at Route 118. Turn left here. Continue on Route 118 for 9.5km and then turn left at the turn off for Futamata Hot Spring. About 1km down that road there is a turn off to the right for Ski Resort Tenei.
