A surpsisingly good course for something so close to Kanazawa and the sea. this year the snow lasted well until the end of March. Of course it is in Ishikawa - the precipitation belt of Japan.

I would have to disagree with Gillian though that it is a bad place to learn. I learnt there and was an incredibly slow learner but still found the course an excellent level. However there is something for everyone.

Boarders are now, like everywhere in Japan, welcome. But this is a skiers course - no jumps or anything like that.
