Jigatake review
This is a nice little ski-jo that is fairly close to Matsumoto (it is the closest one in the Hakuba region). The main slope is a beginners slope, but it is long and steep enough to keep most people amused, and there are at least 4 other (steeper) slopes plus some jumps and a halfpipe. The staff are really friendly and helpful, particulurly the rental shop people, and the food in the restaurant is cheap and super-tasty.

The highlight for me though is the view from the top of the slope, where you can see down and along the valley below.
