Funky Arm Band Off-Piste System
Day 2 of my sons and my Hokkaido week. We day tripped from Furano in some blustery conditions but while skiing it was mainly gray overcast. We did the arm band thing which grants us the OK to ski off piste (unless that was Kiroro?). We didn't have new snow so skiing was just so-so. Plus, off-piste wasn't readily available other than in the trees at the resort boundary (where we maybe weren't supposed to go). My sons and I got a little bored here since the snow was so-so for Hokkaido standards. On a better day (new snow) it would be worthwhile
Date visited: From 30 January, 2017 To 30 January, 2017
Snow condition on visit: Packed out powder with some side country stashes
Things I liked: Decent lifts. Almost deserted on a Monday.
Things I didn't like: Ran out of terrain to ski
Recommended for: Beginner riders
Intermediate riders
