Great little ski field
I love Iwatake - its a small mountain that had no queues on the Gondola or any of the lifts. My kids and I are snowboarders and we loved the run from top to bottom.

Great length and plenty of walls to get up on the snowboard.

Really easy to find your way around and some super quiet runs out the back of Iwatake.

Would recommend Iwatake for family day trips. I have been back in March 2014 and I will also head back in Jan this year (2015).
Date visited: From 13 January, 2014 To 13 January, 2014
Snow condition on visit: Layer of fresh powder over plenty of hard pack
Things I liked: Runs and wall rides - plenty of sides to get up on
Things I didn't like: I liked everything about Iwatake, so no real complaints
Recommended for: Beginner riders
Intermediate riders
Skiers
Snowboarders
