Many Runs with Pow
Overall, great resort all together, but didn't post why the gondola didn't open when the resort opened.

Times are always translated easily amongst several languages.

Easy to get to, since its mostly toll road the entire way. Don't get confused when driving there if it seems you are going away from the mountain.

Eventually you'll see the Iwate Kogen signs and appreciate you kept going.
Date visited: From 10 January, 2015
Snow condition on visit: Even on a weekend, there is still plenty of runs to get the pow you are looking for. The gondola didn't start at opening. When it did start, some of the chair lifts shut down (I'm not sure why). There were 3-4 runs from the top with beautiful pow. Awesome, better than Appi.
Things I liked: Several runs with pow.
Things I didn't like: Gondola didn't open until after lunch.
