better than you might think!!
Living in Toyama I have always been a bit hesitant to ski here because of the close proximity to Niigata and Nagano.

After four years now I have been there a handful of times and have a new found respect for the mounatins. When it snows the place actually rocks.

Tons of fresh pow all over the mountain and no ski patrol in sight.

Under and to the right of the Gondala and the trees in Gokurakazaka are highly recommended!
Snow condition on visit: 40 cm of soft pow!
Things I liked: Fresh pow and first tracks all day
Things I didn't like: The groomers are full of beginners
Recommended for: Intermediate riders
Advanced riders
Skiers
Off-piste opportunities
Ungroomed courses
Authentic Japan experience
