Small place, popular with families
I have been here twice now. The reason I chose this small place was a few friends going and also the fact that all of the bigger places would be crazy busy on the long weekend.

It's a smallish skijo with two 'bases' - Ipponsugi and Yoshisato - both offering parking for free, even on a holiday. I like that. They join up at the top, and the top lift is where the only fairly steep slope is. It's not that steep but they leave it untouched and so go after a snowfall and there's some untouched to play in while most people use the round-about run to get back down... silly them.

There were actually quite a few people there. Mostly families with young kids and ski lessons. A kind of 80's vibe to the people there even. Possibly even myself!

So the runs down to each base area are fairly gentle.

That's about it really. Great views of the Minamiuonuma valley to be seen on a clear day.
