This is another one of Akita's many tiny tiny ski hills, but Hachimantai gets some pretty solid snow!

They are always the first ski hill to open in Akita and you can def find some great freshies. Last time I was there was in March, and we were still finding some pretty nice powder lines. Another great thing about this place is that there aren't really any boundaries, so you can hit some tree lines and get off the groomer to find some pow.

For what it is, it's great. A cheap ski hill with lots of potential for pow.

Having said that, its still a small ski-jo, so expect 1 lift, and shorter runs.
Date visited: From 2010 To 2011
Snow condition on visit: SPRING POW!
Things I liked: Good snow, no limits/boundaries, chill, CHEAP!
Things I didn't like: Small, short runs, 1 lift
