Sky Valley review by Androo
A pretty big mountain for Hyogo, Sky Valley/Hyper Bowl offers a little for everyone, but lacks any of those truly challenging runs for more advanced folks, at least in the proper course. There's decent areas for boarders to play on, including a half pipe, rails, kickers, and if there's enough snow, a quarter pipe.

My first time up, I was more or less a first year snowboarder and was still learning. The bunny courses at SV is tougher and narrower than those at HB, and it often gets really crowded at the bottom. Now that I know what I'm doing, it's easy to avoid the crowds by going up higher and using the top of the mountain.

Wish there were faster lifts, or at least longer ones.
Date visited: From 2008 To 2011
Snow condition on visit: Usually fresh powder post-dump
Things I liked: Cheaper than Hachi-Kita, connected to Hyperbowl, easily accessible
Things I didn't like: Tough for beginners? A bit of a walk from the parking lots
