This place would be great on a week day.

Don't even bother with the lower runs unless you're an expert at dodging people.

Thankfully if you make the trek to the upper parts there's enough breathing room. Also, for snowboarders- the beginner's slopes here are so flat you'd wish you had ski poles. The pink (beginner/intermediate) were nice and plentiful. The reds (intermediate) would be black at other resorts. I am still not good enough to really go down them but I reckon the adequate snowboarder will enjoy them. And for you hard-core people, sadly there are only 2 (I believe) black runs.

A final disgruntlement for those driving - the only way there is using their toll road which is only a couple km, but charge 900 yen - on top of a 4500 lift ticket and a lot of the runs unusable due to heavy, heavy traffic made me think it was more than it's worth.
Date visited: From 23 January, 2010
Snow condition on visit: groomed and soft
Things I liked: Some challenging runs
Things I didn't like: CROWDED, expensive toll road
