This station is small, but has some charm to offer. Despite being a week-end, it was totally uncrowded.

The snow coverage was good, but the surface was hard and quick. The weather was slightly chilly. The last top section for expert only was not open.

The tracks are short, but the ski area is wide. The tracks are wide and well groomed which is ideal for carving. Indeed, I never saw such a high proportion of alpine boards.

The station has many beginners tracks (not that it is a criteria for me) and is ideal for families. The rest area offers enough seating capacity.

The ticket price is a little bit expensive for its size, and 500 JPY is charged for the parking.

Although being on the small side, I would definitely return to this resort if I am in the area.

Verdict : 7.0/10 (my 1st experience in Japan)
Date visited: From 27 December, 2009
Snow condition on visit: Hard & fast surface
Things I liked: Not crowded at all, many tracks
Things I didn't like: Small
