Takasu Snow Park review
Although it only took 2 hours to get there form Kyoto, it took nearly 6 hours to get back. Traffic was a nightmare. A single lane road to to the highway with 5 other ski resorts emptying their parking lots onto this road at the same time (we left at 3pm to try to beat the traffic) made this trip seem a lot worse than it actually was.

The mountain is good, good variety of terrain for varying abilities, and lots of fun to be had for any weather conditions. Powder, lots of off-piste fun. Spring like conditions, the park is soft and fun.
Date visited: From 03 March, 2007
Snow condition on visit: Spring-like conditions
Things I liked: Close enough to Kansai to make a day trip, good sized mountain, quick lifts, park, border cross run, great off-piste
Things I didn't like: Crowded
