Zao Liza World review by Dan L
First and second days of snowboarding spent here - enjoyed a lot. A long beginner run where a lot of people were learning, and biffing it (myself included) - very nice place to learn.

They have a lot of runs that were very challenging for me (I don't know how they would be for more experienced people). I feel like I could have spent another few days there and not have been bored.

We were able to get our lift ticket with rental (includes board, boots, coat, pants) for 4500 yen, which is a steal.

They have a free shuttle bus that runs from the nearest train station (Kaminoyama) that was a little crowded, but better than paying for a cab.

Rental was really easy - took about 10 minutes to get my stuff. Foot lockers are 200/400 yen, and don't give your money back, but are very spacious.

Came from Sendai - took about 90 minutes by train + 40 minutes by bus to get to the ticket window.

I plan to go again.
Date visited: From 06 January, 2007 To 07 January, 2007
Snow condition on visit: Some powder
Things I liked: Inexpensive, convenient, variety
Things I didn't like: Last shuttle bus at 4, lots of little kids
