Was very lucky and copped two great powder days at Grandeco. The 29th was insane, must have snowed 50cm during the day. The runs up the top weren't crowded and we stuck to them most of the day. Lots of annoying beginners down the bottom runs.

Nothing too steep here, and the occasional flat parts can be overcome if you pay attention.

Food at the restaurant in the top gondola house was great and quite resonable.

The road to Grandeco is pretty good, and shouldn't cause too many problems. Also has free buses running from Inwashiro station and from Koriyama way.

Grandeco is great for early in the season when the other places are struggling to open, but without a decent park and jumps it doesn't really have enough to make you wanna go back in a region with plenty of choices.
Date visited: From 25 December, 2006
Snow condition on visit: Powdery
Things I liked: Apparently best snow in region, long courses
Things I didn't like: Occasional flats, lack of board park, beginners everywhere
