Asahidake Ropeway review by Simon
A friendly low key resort suitable for experienced skiers who like powderwhich is great if there isnt much wind.

The terrain is extremely varied from steep to flat- there are 2 groomed roads to get your bearings.
Date visited: From February, 2006
Snow condition on visit: Deep+ light
Things I liked: Wild not groomed do what you like no ski patrol. Can hike above Gondola up the mountain
Things I didn't like: Can be cold + when windy gondola doesnt go
