Kurumayama Kogen review
I feel the need to review this place again now that its changed a bit. The park they have built has some good rails (about 5) some well shaped table tops, a really nice spine and a wall ride at the bottom. There werent too many people and there werent any queues for the park which made a nice change from other resorts.

Unfortunately the snow conditions were dangerously icy up at the top section of the mountain and unlike the rest of Japan they seem to have missed out on the snow... there was lots of grass and tree branches poking through.

The runs from the top dont link up with the fast lift to the top. The top runs are super short. The bottom runs are flat.

I wont be going back here.
Date visited: From 15 January, 2006
Snow condition on visit: Icy and slushy
Things I liked: The new park is pretty good, boardercross track
Things I didn't like: Ice, windy, dangerous on the steeps
