This is a great mountain... IF!! You are a telemarker. The entire mountain was flat and icy, they somehow managed to get a snowcat into every area of the mountain and groom it, and by groom I mean packing the snow until it begins to ice. By midday the entire mountain was ice, then the snow started to fall, but that didn't last long as the wind picked up and blew the fresh snow off.

By late afternoon, my group and I had somewhat come to an understanding over the most confusing lift system I or they have ever had the displeasure of using. Then it iced up entirely. The trails are also confusing and require you to unstrap and push just to get to the next lift or junction. It took us about an hour to find the freeride park, and when we did it was flat and icy too. All the jumps save for two were rollers and the setup was like a widened then compressed boarder rally course with no real path, do I take the left over the rythm section or the right over the big rollers?? The transfers on all jumps and landings were sketchy and edgy at best, the pyramid thing would be cool if it wasn't so icy and the tabletop would be cool too if it was larger and wasn't flat before the ramp. NOT worth the time and money to ride this mountain.

But they do have an outstanding school system for new skiers, not boarders... but you know what that means... LOOK OUT!! 30 to 40 5 to 8 year olds with sharpened sticks crisscrossing the entire runs all day on every run, do I look like I need to practice my fencing skills?? No thank you, please be considerate and MOVE OUT OF MY WAY!!

If I could give this mountain LESS than 1 star I would place it around -2.3, In '93 when you hosted the Skier Comps I'm sure it was the hotness; Welcome to the year 2006, take a hint from the other mountains please... Oh BTW, I would like my Money back.

Extremly Dissapointed
