Tanbara Ski Park review by simonwb
Coming from Ikebukero, Tanbara is an easy option, I think they even do tours from Kawagoe, so it's just a matter of jumping on the bus and going.

If you want to go snowboarding and you don't wan't to blow too much cash.

Tanbara is a good option.
Date visited: From 22 January, 2005
Snow condition on visit: Decent. Some good powder of the main runs
Things I liked: Access, quite cheap.
Things I didn't like: It's a tad small
