This place really can be alot of fun. Although it is fairly limited in terms of on-piste stuff - only good for beginner to intermediate riders, there is enough off-piste action to keep anyone interested.

After a decent snowfall there are countless runs underneath the gondola with good powder, lots off natural bowls and heaps of nice jumps and bumps. Just be careful of the avalanche barriers and holes that pop up now and again.

Ichirino also has a little park which has been looking better and better recently - with spine ramp, rails, a table top and 2 decent jumps.

Weekdays and Saturdays are generally uncrowded, but Sunday is another story.

Probably not worth a long drive, but if you live in Ishikawa or find yourself nearby it is definitely a great little place.

On a side note, it has awesome views and the best onsen and rotenburo I've been to - great for kicking back with a beer at the end of the day.
