Manza Onsen review by Gary
Liked it a lot, thought for beginners and intermediate its perfect, snow was fantastic and because of the high altitude skiing was great even this time of year.

Good variety of runs will keep u going for a few days. Bonus if ur driving, u need a car to get here really and as its tough to get to its not crowded.

Onsens here are fantastic, Manza Onsen Hotel has some of the most recommended in Japan. Prince too has a great Onsen.
Date visited: From 02 January, 2005 To 03 January, 2005
Snow condition on visit: Snow was excellent, but there had just been a big dump over the new year
Things I liked: Not at all crowded, great for intermediate, fantastic onsens (people flock here for the onsens alone), good variety of runs
Things I didn't like: Advanced may find it easy, long way from the highway and no shinkansen or trains nearby
