Basically the resort is good and pretty fun. The terrain covers a lot of area so between the runs there are many possible chances to get some great off piste. The lifties and ski patrols though are strict, so make sure to have a look around before you go into the trees. There was a short section of off-piste on the ridge that runs parallel to the single chairlift at the top of Inawashiro ski resort (I can't remember which resort was which but if your looking at the resort from the bottom it's the one on the right). Basically when you get to the top just walk straight to the top and ski along the ridge from there. I didn't get a good look around at the off piste as I was boarding with my girlfriend, but there was potential. The valley between the resort would be ideal but the trees are very close to each other in places, so be careful.\r\n\r\nThe board park here was well set up... I had a lot of fun in there and the best thing was it wasn't even crowded - I didn't see another person in there all day (maybe it was closed hahaha). So definately like all Japanese ski resorts - go on weekdays.
