Asahidake Ropeway review
I was definitely mislead by "the tallest mountain in Hokkaido," I was expecting a lot more vert.

As it was time at Asahidake went like this - wait for the rope way, battle the wind for 500m to get across a skating rink of an upper mountain, enjoy 15 of the best turns you'll find anywhere in blower pow, freeze your ass off riding a flat cattrack back to the ropeway, wait 10 min for the ropeway to leave - repeat
