White is the ground this morning! 5 cm fell in the valley and 10 cm up top overnight and snow guns have been busy through the night on the resorts as well. The big news is that Goryu Resort has opened up their upper slope to season pass holders only and plans now to open to the general public - tomorrow! That's right, the resorts are gearing up with the new snow and anticipating more over the next few days. With Goryu opening, Happo, Tsugaike and 47 shouldn't be far behind so get your gear ready to rock the slopes Hakuba is going to go off.   Read more ...

From today the Takamagahara quad lift will be operating for the first time this season. Other lifts will be opening up just as soon as they can - hopefully in a few days time we will be reporting much more of that.   Read more ...
