Heavy showers persisted throughout the night falling as snow above about 800m. A few light showers should continue this morning then clearing a little later on. The freezing level has remained at around 900m overnight but tomorrow should see another burst of cold air that will bring it down a couple of hundred meters lower. More precipitation is expected with snowfalls down to around 600m tomorrow then it will clear until the weekend when more precipitation will hit the region. Youtei should be pretty plastered up top by now and first turns of the season could be had by those intrepid souls willing to climb up. Read more ...
