A winning combination today - sunny skies and 15-20cm of new snow.
Snow flurries late last night depsosited a nice soft layer of fresh on top of the harder base we have been skiing on recently. Warmer temperatures will come in later in the afternoon, along with solar radiation making the snow a bit heavier and mosisture laden.
Snow continued through yesterday ensuring the epic powder conditions continued. This morning though has dawned reasonably clear and the temperatures are relatively mild. Looks like we're going to get a little break from the continuous snowfalls over this weekend. Great opportunity for the sun deprived to replenish their vitamin D stocks.
Patchy clouds with snowfall plus sunshine at times.
A nice amount of snow over night with winds becoming strong for short periods during the day. Very busy at Hikage beginner slope and tomorrow should also be busy at least until the afternoon. Snowfall is constant with large flakes so there should be fresh runs all over the place. Holes appeared in the clouds today to help get some sun into peoples eyes around lunchtime.
