Currently it is around 7 degrees and will probably rise to a high of around 14 this afternoon.

Tomorrow is a national holiday in Japan and with some people taking a long weekend Mitsumata Ropeway and Tashiro Ropeway are opening early today and tomorrow (7am and 7:30am respectively).   Read more ...

Myoko Now!

Monday 28th April 2008, 9:23am
Weather conditions: Cloudy gradually clearing
New snowfall: --
Snow depth: --
Cloudy skies with slight warm winds in Myoko. Seki and Akakura are ready for Golden Week, but area bookings are low this year. This bodes well for those who hate crowds, as the runs should be sparse. The runs are slushy near the bottom and in the board parks, but still quite navigable.

Seki stays open till the 18th.

Your Myoko area levels for today:
40cm (Akakura Kanko Resort);
30cm (Akakura Onsen);
180cm (Seki Onsen)
