Weather conditions: Cloudy/foggy, snow or rain later
New snowfall: --

It's overcast here this morning, with only the bottom runs visible from the village. It's around -3 now, but it should warm up later on. A little snow/rain is forecast for this evening.

Thursday's snow has greatly improved conditions, though only 20cm max could be found at Hakuba47. The snow is fine if not bottomless offpiste and the groomers are in great condition. Freeriders may be pleased to know that Route 3 is due to be groomed, which should see off all those moguls.   Read more ...

Niseko Now!

Weather conditions: Sun
New snowfall: --
Snow depth: --
15cm+ of new snow last night, and blue skies this morning! No wind and perfect visibility have combined to make for fantastic conditions. Tree runs within resort boundaries are now softer underfoot, but still not bottomless. Strawberries received enough fresh cover to make it good fun, but the pick of the day was easily the run off the Annupuri peak. Masses did the climb early on, rewarded with magical turns. Steeper areas off the peak are sliding - there was a 15cm by 30m avalanche further backcountry. Caution is recommended.   Read more ...
