Good morning from Hirafu and this morning it's rather mild and somewhat overcast/cloudy. We might see some sun though during the day. Temperatures only went down to around +3 degrees in the village overnight but without much sun forecast it should warm up to perhaps just over 10 degrees today.
Similar kind conditions are expected tomorrow tomorrow but a good chance of more sunshine; and clear sunny weather is expexted into the weekend.
Any miracle late late season snow on the forecast? Not looking likely.

Cloudy skies are still with us this morning, though not the rain at the moment and fingers crossed it'll stay like that. Might even clear up later on.
Looks like it's poor visibility again up on Yamabiko again this morning with a thick fog covering the top of the mountain.
A high of around 14 degrees expected later, and from tomorrow clearer skies for the rest of the week and into the coming weekend when things are due to warm up - often seems to happen once when we get into Golden Week.

Not much to see of the mountains this morning from here in the village with thick cloud and fog covering most of them - visibility on most of the open upper runs looks pretty poor this morning. It's not raining though like we had yesterday so that's good.
We are expecting the conditions to clear up by tomorrow - lots of sun is forecast from tomorrow right through into the weekend.
