It is a wet morning in Yuzawa, with rain falling. Light rain was falling from yesterday afternoon and into the evening so we have perhaps had a fair bit overnight. Hopefully it should clear up around lunchtime leaving the rest of the day to be just cloudy. It is right now 8 degrees in Yuzawa with temperatures not likely to rise much and generally similar conditions likely tomorrow with rain in the afternoon. It looks like we might have to wait until around Sunday for the cloud and rain conditions to clear up proper.
All of Kagura remains open and the lifts at Gala Yuzawa that remain open are still operating.

It is just cloudy this morning... and not many people around! Clearer weather is forecast for the weekend at the moment.

Overcast with light rain
The wonderful image of spring skiing with fine warm weather and crystal blue skies does seem to be eluding us recently. Although it was warm today we had grey skies and light rain through most of the day. This is not the kind of weather that motivates the masses. Lets hope the weekend shapes up to be a good one.
