No new snow to report today in Zao. The day started off clear and cold but it has become milder and clouds have moved in as the day has progressed. It's just a kind of bright but hazy cloudy look going on this afternoon.

Tomorrow is going to be a mild day and temperatures are set to rise into the positives, and we may experience some rain fall even up here in Zao. Hopefully snow higher up, but nothing major. Just avoiding rain would be good. Not a whole load of snowmen on the weeks forecast really, though look out for them to bring their next layer of goodness early next week.

From tomorrow most of the mountain should be open. Decent conditions for early on, but still quite thin on the ground.

Lift tickets until Thursday 20th December are at the specially lowered price of 3000 yen for adults and 1500 yen for children.
