Morning from Zao.

The sun is out and it is a fine morning, though there is still the chance of snow showing for later today. (And then on Thursday).

The slopes were quiet over the weekend so I expect that to be even more so today now we are back to weekdays.

The low levels of snow and now this coronavirus scare really has shaped the story of this season, unfortunately. Not just for Zao of course but wider through lots of Japan. Let us hope for more positive and exciting news next season.

How long this season will continue is unknown yet of course so let's just keep on going! (The original plan - as always - is until Golden Week in early May).

- Summit area: 100cm
- Paradise area: 105cm
- Chuo area: 120cm
- Utopia area: 110cm
- Uwanodai area: 55cm
- Oomori area: 55cm

All lifts are now normally operating apart from the following:

- Zao Paradise Number 3 pair
- Astraea Number 3 pair
- Diamond Number 1 pair
- Ryuzan pair
- Karamatsu pair
- Yokokura Number 2 pair

- All courses are now mostly open
- Yokokura and Omori part open

Nighta in the Uwanodai area is scheduled for 7th, 14th, 20th and 21st March 2020. 5:00pm until 9:00pm.

Nighta in the Yokokura area is scheduled for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through 7th March 2020. 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
