The snow did ease off fairly quickly yesterday leaving us with a cloudy afternoon and clear evening - here in Minamiuonuma to the north of Yuzawa anyway.

This morning is quite bright but cloudy and overcast. Some blue sky here and there. Right now about 5 degrees in Yuzawa town and a high of just over 10 forecast.

Tomorrow should be a bit warmer and it seems we may get rained on before my report tomorrow morning.
