This must be the latest a report has been posted until now - sorry about that! A few technical things going on that prevented an earlier posting.

Resort news - nighta at Ishiuchi Maruyama has now finished for the season and so has the "Three Mountain" connection between Yuzawa Kogen, Gala Yuzawa and Ishiuchi Maruyama.

Anyway, today we had warm temperatures - up to around 9 degrees - and just a cloudy day for the most part really. Strongish winds earlier on in the morning but it was much calmer as evening approached. Tomorrow will likely be similar though perhaps not quite as warm. What does look very probable though is rain. Places higher up like Kagura and the top of Naeba might get spared the rain and see snow, but lower down it looks inevitable. As the weekend moves on hopefully it will be snowy.

Centleisure Maiko resort just to the north of Yuzawa in Minamiuonuma have announced that they will be extending their season a bit. They were planning to be open until 1st April but will now be opening on the following weekend (7th/8th April) as well. From the 2nd to the 6th there will be closed. There's still a lot of snow up there, so perhaps expected.
