Well, it has started off with beautiful clear blue skies once again and there is no new snow to report this morning. It wasn't so cold overnight but there is still a blanket of fog early on in the valley just to the north of Yuzawa. At the moment it is 0 degrees outside the office, but that will probably warm up to around 4 during the day.

It looks like we are set for clouds to move in during the day and then hopefully snow to be falling before the evening and overnight. Having said that, we can't really expect any heavy snow, with just cloud forecast for the best part of tomorrow.

The resorts were fairly busy over the weekend with lots of people coming out to enjoy the fine weather - from talking with a number of resorts, it seems it was the busiest weekend of the season so far. Kagura has some fine snow conditions and other resorts too - especially in higher areas - but conditions at lower levels in places are getting rather spring-like and the ground is even showing through on a couple of runs.... so we could do with some more fresh snow to fall and give everywhere a good topup.
