Good morning from Yuzawa.

We are enjoying some beautiful weather at the start of the day today.

Clear blue skies and sunshine. Bit of a dusting of snow overnight but not seeing any reported cm of fresh snow from ski areas this morning. It feels like there is a bit of wind, but surely nothing to cause any issues.

Forecasts tell us to expect clouds again later on today and then snow - perhaps some heavy snow at times overnight tonight. Just how quickly the clouds move in... we'll just have to see.

-----

So, from today there are some changes going on. The biggest being that the Kagura, Naeba and Yuzawa Park ski areas are closed. Hopefully, that will not be for too long.

There are also some changes to various lift operations, listed (as best we can) below. If you are getting out there, recommend checking official sources to make sure you know the latest.
