Morning from Shiga Kogen.

It is a very bright and sunny morning. There was a slight dusting of snow overnight actually - rain lower down I hear - but it's clear again at the start of the day.

Yesterday was mild but today and tomorrow are going to be warming up even further, and it is a very mild early morning. Context: there's still some white on the roads.

I just noticed the forecast for Nagano City is about 18C, possibly even slightly higher!

Obviously it won't get anything like that warm up here in Shiga Kogen, but it will still be into positive numbers.

A return to winter is still due around Tuesday.
